Conejo Blanco – No. 314
Conejo Blanco – No. 314
Carved from a single piece of wood, Conejo Blanco stares with stern resolve — a guardian, not a guest. In Zapotec tradition, the rabbit (tochtli) embodies fertility, abundance, and wisdom. But this one brings something else: defiance, insight, presence.
Its surface is layered with hand-painted codices, grecas, and sculptural textures — a dream rendered in geometry. There is story in its stillness, and intent in every line.
Available exclusively at Xhuba Gallery. Enquiries welcome.
